This is a video about a camp for Internally Displaced Peoples on the border of Iraq and Iran, as seen through the eyes of the Kurdish children who live there.

All the drawings, photography, and singing are by the young residents of the Zharawa camp in the Sulaimaniya district of Iraqi Kurdistan. Production by Tracy Fuad.

Tracy Fuad studies Journalism at Northwestern University, and is a co-founder of the195.com, a multimedia storytelling platform for students abroad. She spent the past summer in Northern Iraq, reconnecting with the Kurdish side of her family and teaching English and multimedia journalism in a small village and an IDP camp.
